Personal Injury Litigation/Pre-Litigation Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a full-time litigation/pre-litigation associate attorney in Chesterfield, MO. The ideal candidate will have experience with personal injury claims and a strong desire to assist injury victims. Must be licensed in Missouri and possess excellent writing, communication, and oral argument skills.

Duties

• Handle personal injury cases from start to finish.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters.
• Litigate cases that cannot be resolved pre-suit.
• Assist with new client intakes.
• Maintain regular contact with clients.
• Prepare documents and correspondence, including demand letters and pleadings.
• Research and negotiate medical liens.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
• Experience with personal injury claims preferred.
• Strong desire to help injury victims.
• Positive mental attitude and strong work ethic.
• Excellent writing, communication, and oral argument skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications
