Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Attorney to join their Denver, CO office. The successful candidate will focus on environmental law and litigation in state and federal courts, advocating for clients' rights and delivering exceptional legal services.

Duties

  • Manage discovery, including written discovery, depositions, and document analysis.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
  • Perform legal research and make court appearances as necessary.
  • Participate in case strategy discussions and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on cases.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law.
  • 10+ years of experience in complex litigation.
  • Environmental/Toxic Torts experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe, Excel, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with E-Discovery and law programs.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe, Excel, Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with E-Discovery and law programs such as Sharefile, PACER, CaseAnywhere, Lexis, Smart Advocate, Everlaw, FileVine, OneLegal.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Excellent communication skills.
