Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated litigation associate to join its Boston, MA office. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex commercial disputes and a strong understanding of litigation procedures. This role offers an opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial matters, representing clients in state and federal courts.

Duties

  • Handle complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
  • Participate in depositions and court hearings.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to develop case strategies.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience.
  • Admitted to practice in the State of Massachusetts.
  • Willingness to seek admission to the Rhode Island or Connecticut state bar, or current admission to one of those bars.

Education

  • Excellent academic background.

Certifications

  • Admitted to the Massachusetts State Bar.

Skills

  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Experience with depositions and court hearings.
