Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced associate attorney to join its healthcare practice group in Rogers, AR. The ideal candidate will have experience in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters, or healthcare regulatory matters, and a keen interest in developing their skills while working closely with experienced partners and healthcare clients.

Duties

  • Collaborate effectively with large working groups as part of a transaction team.
  • Work professionally and collaboratively with partners, associates, and support staff.
  • Manage and organize workload, maintaining communication with partners and staff.
  • Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Handle multiple matters and tasks simultaneously, completing them efficiently and effectively.
  • Learn new substantive legal topics and factual subject matters as needed.
  • Conduct proficient legal research and clearly communicate issues, holdings, and reasoning.
  • Be open to remote mentoring and teaching by attorneys in other offices.
  • Commit to interacting directly with and achieving the goals of firm clients.

Requirements

  • Admitted to practice with an active bar license in good standing in Arkansas or able to obtain admittance within one year.
  • 1-3 years of experience in corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, or regulatory matters.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar license in good standing in Arkansas or eligibility to obtain within one year.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in legal research methods.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new legal topics.
