Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Real Estate Attorney in Minneapolis, MN. This role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in real estate transactions, including commercial leasing, sales/acquisitions, finance, and development. Duties

  • Handle a high volume of deals within corporate and real estate teams.
  • Manage due diligence for real estate sales, purchases, and financing transactions.
  • Oversee complex closings of real estate sales and purchase deals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in real estate transactions as a licensed attorney.
  • Experience with purchase and sale, financing, leasing, title and survey review, and joint venture agreements.
  • Proven negotiation skills in complex real estate transactions.
  • Strong drafting skills for purchase and sales agreements in commercial real estate.
  • Solid legal writing, analytical skills, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail, and strong academic credentials.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota.
