A law firm based in Saint Charles, MO, is expanding its family law division and seeking a driven Family Law Attorney with strong litigation experience. This role involves full case management of family law matters from initiation through resolution, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference for clients facing significant life transitions. Duties:

• Handle a full docket of family law matters based in Missouri

• Prepare and manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and court appearances

• Represent clients in hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations

• Conduct client consultations and maintain proactive communication throughout the legal process

• Collaborate with internal legal teams, including paralegals and administrative support

• Maintain accurate case files and documentation in digital systems

• Engage constructively in conflict resolution and negotiation processes

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Missouri

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation, with preference for those with first-chair trial exposure in family law

• Strong ability to independently manage case workflows

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Demonstrated client service acumen with high emotional intelligence

• Familiarity with litigation support platforms such as CaseNet

• Comfortable operating in a tech-forward environment (Mac OS, Microsoft 365)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution

Certifications:

• Admission to the Missouri Bar (required)

• Admission to the Illinois Bar (preferred or willingness to obtain)

• Legal research and persuasive writing

• High emotional intelligence and interpersonal sensitivity
