Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated attorney with 3-5 years of experience in insurance coverage for its Boston office. The role involves representing international and domestic insurers on various liability policies, including directors and officers, employment practices, and commercial general liability. Duties

• Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies and draft coverage opinions.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal correspondence.
• Meet with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Attend arbitrations, hearings, and mediations as needed.
• Manage matters, deadlines, and client communication proactively.

Requirements

• Excellent academic credentials.
• Admitted to practice in California; additional bar admissions are a plus.
• Experience in complex insurance coverage matters; litigation experience is a plus.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
