A law firm seeks an experienced associate to join its Labor and Employment practice in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will have four to eight years of experience in employment counseling and litigation.

Duties

  • Handle wage and hour class actions.
  • Manage single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination cases.
  • Conduct research and draft motions.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Participate in trial and trial preparation.

Requirements

  • Admitted to practice in the State of California.
  • Experience in restrictive covenant and traditional labor is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • California Bar admission.

  • Superior research and motion drafting abilities.
  • Proficiency in taking and defending depositions.
  • Strong trial and/or trial preparation experience.
