Job Overview

Duties

• Handle civil litigation matters, including real estate disputes and business litigation.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare written briefs and memoranda.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Develop litigation strategies and maintain client communication.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff for case management.
• Manage an independent caseload with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the State of Texas.
• Substantial experience in litigation, preferably in real estate and business disputes.
• Excellent legal drafting and writing skills.
• Strong research abilities using platforms like LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Effective negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Prior Of Counsel or similar role experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
