Location

Duties

  • Manage and litigate criminal and traffic defense cases primarily in Will and DuPage Counties, with occasional cases in surrounding jurisdictions

  • Conduct trials, motion hearings, and other court proceedings independently

  • Maintain direct client communication and manage case strategy from start to finish

  • Participate in firm strategy and contribute to potential expansion of practice areas

  • Maintain accurate documentation and case notes

  • Work collaboratively with legal staff and leadership to improve internal processes and client outcomes

Requirements

  • Experience in criminal law preferred

  • Trial experience or strong desire to develop courtroom skills

  • Confidence in client-facing roles and public speaking

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a caseload

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in contributing to firm growth

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
