Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Intellectual Property Associate in Portland, OR. The firm is looking for judicial clerks with a minimum of one year of experience, preferably in a federal court, to join their Intellectual Property Litigation practice. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on intellectual property and patent litigation.

Duties

  • Engage in intellectual property and patent litigation.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents.

Requirements

  • Current experience as a judicial clerk for at least one year.
  • Two to six years of prior law firm experience.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Membership to the State Bar of the office location.

Education

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent preferred.

Certifications

  • Admission to the State Bar of the office location.
