A renowned law firm, located in Miami, FL, is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Birth Injury Attorney to handle cases related to birth injuries on a national level. This role provides the opportunity to work on high-profile cases with a focus on catastrophic injury and wrongful death. Duties:

  • Manage and lead cases involving birth injuries, representing clients with dedication and professionalism.
  • Conduct legal research, and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to birth injury claims.
  • Provide expert counsel to clients throughout the legal process, from case evaluation to resolution.
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings (virtually or in person as required).
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing insights and providing mentorship to junior attorneys.
  • Maintain an active caseload while ensuring timely responses and updates for clients.
  • Stay informed of developments in birth injury law, enhancing strategies to effectively advocate for clients.

Requirements:

  • Active membership in the Bar of at least one state.
  • Proven experience in handling birth injuries or complex personal injury cases.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present cases clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in at least one U.S. state.

Skills:

  • Expertise in birth injury law or personal injury litigation.
  • Proficiency with legal technology and case management systems.
  • Outstanding advocacy, writing, and research skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and mediate effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and case management abilities.
