Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney to join its team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in insurance defense and/or subrogation, with a proven ability to manage cases independently or collaboratively. This role offers the opportunity to engage in substantive work and develop client relationships.

Duties

• Handle cases independently or with a partner.
• Engage in motion practice, discovery, and depositions.
• Manage federal or multi-jurisdictional cases.
• Work on personal injury, fire loss, and product liability defense.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Participate in continuing education and client development activities.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
• Experience with case management software and MS Office.
• Ability to travel occasionally.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
