Insurance and Reinsurance Attorney

Duties

• Represent international and domestic insurers and reinsurers on pre-underwriting risk assessments.
• Provide claim management and coverage opinions for professional liability risks in the U.S.
• Prepare for trials and manage courtroom responsibilities, including motion practice and depositions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of practice experience in insurance coverage, medical malpractice, or mass torts.
• Proficiency in presenting complex liability and coverage issues in written form.
• Experience with e-discovery software.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of residence.
