Associate - Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney to join its Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation team in Newport Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience and a strong interest in benefits and executive compensation, general corporate, and/or tax law.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Advise clients on benefits and employment issues, focusing on health and welfare benefits.
• Guide clients on benefits and compensation-related matters, including plan design, implementation, compliance, corrections, amendments, and terminations.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong academic record.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Professional and effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
