Family Law Associate Attorney

Location:

Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal research to support litigation and settlement strategies

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and discovery

• Represent clients in family law proceedings including hearings, mediation, and trial

• Negotiate settlements in matters such as divorce, child custody, and support

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to manage caseloads effectively

• Maintain accurate records of legal proceedings, case updates, and client communications

• Stay informed on legal developments, including tribal law and securities law where applicable

Requirements:

• Prior experience in family law is highly preferred

• Proven litigation experience or strong interest in court representation

• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail

• Willingness to work closely with clients through emotionally charged cases

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of California

• In good standing with the California State Bar
