Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its legal team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation and insurance defense. This position offers the opportunity to manage a caseload, engage in courtroom appearances, negotiate settlements, and provide comprehensive legal advice to clients.

Location:

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various personal injury and insurance defense cases.

  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.

  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and depositions.

  • Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies and provide legal guidance.

  • Negotiate settlements and plea agreements on behalf of clients.

  • Review and analyze legal documents and contracts.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to the Texas State Bar Association.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or insurance defense.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience in managing a caseload and working with clients in a litigation environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Texas State Bar Association.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in conducting legal research using platforms like Lexis-Nexis.
