Duties

• Develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Perform legal research and extensive due diligence.
• Provide legal advice on all aspects of insurance defense law.
• Review, modify, and create contracts related to insurance defense law.
• Prepare for and attend legal proceedings.
• Negotiate on behalf of clients.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records.
• Supervise paralegals and administrative assistants.

Requirements

• Active California State Bar license.
• Previous experience with insurance defense law.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
