A law firm seeks an experienced Estate Planning Attorney in Virginia to join their team. Duties

• Design and implement estate and asset protection strategies for clients.
• Serve as the primary attorney contact for plan customization and implementation.
• Supervise and coordinate planning, application, and administration functions.
• Delegate tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to meet deadlines.
• Respond to client and team inquiries promptly.
• Assess prospective clients' needs and determine next steps.

Requirements

• Virginia State Bar admission; Maryland and District Bar admissions are a plus.
• 2-4 years of experience in estate planning and/or elder law.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
• Professional demeanor with a commitment to quality and critical thinking.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines.
• Self-starter with a proactive attitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and exercise discretion.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Virginia State Bar.
