A rapidly expanding law firm based in Naperville, Illinois, is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with 0 to 2 years of experience—or a newly licensed attorney—to join its team. This position offers immediate exposure to a variety of legal practice areas, with a primary focus on family law, civil litigation, and probate. Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in court for family law, civil litigation, and probate matters

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

  • Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings

  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and legal guidance

  • Collaborate with legal support staff and fellow attorneys on case management and strategy

  • Manage and prioritize a caseload effectively in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • 0 to 2 years of legal experience

  • Strong interest in family law, probate, and/or civil litigation

  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly for court appearances

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Illinois, or license pending with anticipated admission

Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and courtroom advocacy

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines effectively
