Duties

  • Represent clients in family law, civil litigation, and probate matters

  • Attend court hearings and manage appearances across regional courts

  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and agreements

  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

  • Maintain organized case files and billing records

  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of legal experience

  • Interest in practicing family law, probate, and/or civil litigation

  • Willingness to travel for court appearances as needed

  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and grow within the firm

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active Illinois Bar license (required)
