Mid-level Litigation Associate

Job Overview:

Duties:

• Handle complex commercial litigation cases, including business disputes, corporate governance, securities, antitrust, false advertising, and class actions
• Represent clients in federal and state courts
• Manage case progress, including coordinating discovery, legal research, and drafting motions and briefs
• Participate in trial preparation and courtroom activities
• Work with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client development
• Provide effective and persuasive legal writing and oral communication
• Collaborate with a team of professionals in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in complex commercial litigation
• Experience with federal and state court litigation
• Prior experience with an AM Law 100 firm preferred
• Must be admitted to practice law in California
• Strong academic record with a J.D. from a nationally recognized law school
• Ability to manage a diverse and demanding caseload
• Proven track record of working well in a collaborative team environment

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Strong academic credentials (top 30% of class preferred)

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in the state of California
