A well-established law firm with office in Green Bay is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This role focuses on insurance defense, medical malpractice, and general negligence claims. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of litigation experience and a strong commitment to delivering client-focused legal services. This position offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to be involved in all stages of litigation, including client meetings, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.

Duties

• Handle all phases of litigation from intake through trial

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence

• Conduct legal research and write briefs and memoranda

• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client communications

• Maintain accurate and timely case records

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience

• Background in insurance defense, medical malpractice, or general negligence preferred

• Experience in both state and federal court procedures

• Demonstrated ability to manage caseloads efficiently and effectively

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the Wisconsin State Bar
