Job Overview

A law firm seeks a driven and collaborative Construction Litigation Associate in Scottsdale, Arizona. This full-time, partnership-track role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality matters with respected practitioners in the field.

Duties

  • Research, draft, and file litigation documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Manage depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Counsel and advise clients on legal strategy and case developments.
  • Handle both firm-generated cases and those you originate.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
  • Participate in firm events, client development, and community involvement.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of litigation experience; construction litigation experience preferred.
  • Licensed to practice law in Arizona.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and appellate rules; AAA Commercial and Construction Rules a plus.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
  • Positive, client-service mindset and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Arizona.
