Job Overview

A highly regarded and successful personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced and passionate Associate Attorney to join its team remotely from within Washington State. This is a dynamic opportunity for a motivated legal professional with 1–3 years of litigation experience to contribute to meaningful client advocacy, manage complex cases, and develop professionally in a collaborative environment.

Location

  • Woodinville, WA

Duties

  • Assess liability and damages in a wide range of personal injury cases

  • Manage high-volume litigation caseloads from inception through appeal

  • Take and defend depositions, including those of expert witnesses

  • Handle court appearances, draft and argue motions, and prepare for trial

  • Negotiate settlements involving complex liability issues

  • Strategically lead and mentor legal support staff and junior attorneys

  • Maintain strong, transparent communication with clients

  • Collaborate with internal teams, opposing counsel, and court officials

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of civil litigation or personal injury experience

  • Experience managing depositions, court appearances, and trial prep

  • Demonstrated success working independently and within a team setting

  • Familiarity with personal injury litigation processes and Washington civil rules

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active member of the Washington State Bar (in good standing)

  • Washington State residency required

Skills

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities

  • Strong communication and client counseling skills

  • Proficient in case management software and legal technology tools
