A law firm seeks an experienced Trial Attorney in Jacksonville, FL, to join their dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will have a robust background in personal injury litigation, be adept in courtroom advocacy, and manage cases from intake through verdict. This role involves working closely with colleagues to achieve justice for clients.

Duties

• Serve as lead counsel on personal injury cases, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death matters.
• Manage a full caseload from initial investigation through verdict or settlement.
• Handle all aspects of litigation: depositions, discovery, motions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Develop case strategies and prepare compelling arguments for trial.
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and team members.
• Participate in firmwide strategy meetings, case reviews, and mentorship opportunities.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Florida and in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of civil litigation experience, with a proven track record of first-chair trial experience (jury trials strongly preferred).
• Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently and work effectively in a team environment.
• Deep knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence.
• Passion for representing injured individuals and delivering justice.
