A law firm seeks a Senior Associate or Counsel with public company experience to join their Executive Compensation Practice in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in executive compensation and employee benefits matters, including public company disclosures and M&A transactions.

Duties

  • Manage executive compensation disclosures for public companies.
  • Handle employee benefits aspects of M&A and private equity transactions.
  • Oversee tax-qualified and nonqualified retirement plans.
  • Develop executive employment and severance arrangements.
  • Design equity and non-equity incentive plans.
  • Engage in significant client contact and manage responsibilities independently.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
