Job Overview:
A well-established law firm located in Encino, CA, is actively seeking a full-time attorney to join its business immigration practice. This role is ideal for a licensed attorney or recent law school graduate with a strong interest in employment-based immigration matters. The position involves legal research, drafting petitions and briefs, and supporting litigation efforts related to immigration law. A collaborative work environment and comprehensive training are provided to support professional growth.

Duties:

  • Draft petitions and supporting documentation for employment-based immigration categories, including but not limited to L-1A, L-1B, H-1B, EB-1, TN, O-1, and E-2

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare briefs for federal litigation and administrative appeals

  • Support internal legal strategies through case analysis and memorandum preparation

  • Communicate with clients and internal team members regarding case status and documentation requirements

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines associated with immigration filings

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

  • Admission to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction or awaiting bar results

  • Demonstrated interest in immigration law, particularly employment-based immigration

  • Strong written communication and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional setting

  • Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited institution

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in any U.S. state (or recent graduate awaiting bar results)

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Legal research and writing proficiency

  • Organizational and time-management skills
