Duties:

  • Interpret and craft detailed responses to USCIS-issued RFEs, NOIDs, and NOIRs

  • Guide and mentor legal support staff and junior attorneys on case strategy and documentation standards

  • Monitor policy updates and immigration trends to improve response accuracy and outcomes

  • Oversee the editing and finalization of legal documents for submission

  • Deliver onboarding and continuing education to legal team members involved in document preparation

  • Provide direct legal advice to clients when escalations arise or clarity is needed

  • Audit legal work produced by staff attorneys and legal assistants to ensure quality and compliance

  • Collaborate with team leads to support workflow and enhance procedural consistency

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction with active, good-standing status

  • At least 3 years of specialized experience in family-based and humanitarian immigration filings

  • In-depth understanding of cases involving VAWA, T-Visas, U-Visas, Medical Deferred Action, I-130s, and Adjustment of Status

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in at least one U.S. state or territory

Skills:

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is highly beneficial

  • Strong legal writing and analytical thinking capabilities

  • Proven leadership in mentoring and training legal professionals

  • Collaborative spirit with adaptability in a high-volume, high-impact practice

  • Commitment to serving underrepresented and undocumented communities

  • Familiarity with legal technology platforms and remote collaboration tools
