Alexandria office of our client seeks an associate attorney with 1+ years of experience in estate planning or real estate. The candidate will prepare correspondence and legal documents such as Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and real estate documents. Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel to clients with the assistance of other attorneys. Analyze legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients. Communicate with clients, staff, and attorneys in the office to ensure cases are handled efficiently. Maintain electronic client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information was available to all in the office. Minnesota Law License is preferred.
The candidate must have completion of a J.D. degree) from an accredited law school. Must have the ability to work with other attorneys and staff to best serve client needs and grow client base. Must have solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and attorneys.
