Alexandria office of our client seeks patent attorney with 1 year of experience. The candidate will specialize in the preparation, filing and prosecution of patent applications in the field of chemical applications. Will determine potential of granting patents and monitor possibility of infringement. Responsible for preparing and filing patent applications. Educate and counsel clients on relevant legal issues accordingly. Develop and manage client relationships. Provide litigation support on pending applications, as necessary. Perform other related duties as required. Must have LL.M., or foreign equivalent, in Law. Must be a member of State Bar. Must have successfully passed US Patent Bar exam. Should have experience in preparing patents for chemical applications.
