Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking a skilled Patent Prosecution and Litigation Technical Advisor to support its Electrical Engineering & Software team. This role will be integral to the firm’s patent prosecution and litigation efforts, working on advanced technology matters such as wireless communications, 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a similar field, with a passion for innovation in patent law.

Duties:

  • Support the firm’s patent prosecution and litigation efforts, focusing on electrical engineering and software technologies.
  • Assist in preparing and drafting technical documents, patent applications, and related materials.
  • Provide technical expertise on issues related to wireless communication, including 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and other professionals to ensure accurate and efficient case management.
  • Perform research and analysis to support patent litigation and prosecution strategies.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of wireless communication technologies, particularly 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical discipline.
