A law firm seeks a skilled Litigation and Consultation Attorney in Farmington Hills, MI. Duties

• Conduct remote legal consultations with prospective clients.
• Assess case facts in student defense, Title IX, and special education matters.
• Provide guidance on legal options and processes.
• Collaborate with intake staff for client onboarding.
• Serve as counsel on civil rights and education-related litigation.
• Lead or support complex cases through various legal stages.
• Mentor junior attorneys and staff.
• Build networks to expand case generation.
• Represent the firm at professional events.
• Work with leadership to identify growth strategies.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3-7 years of litigation experience in education law, Title IX, or civil rights cases.
• Strong client-facing skills with empathetic communication.
• Proven ability to generate cases and contribute to practice growth.
• Excellent research, writing, and trial strategy skills.
