Location:

Duties:

  • Draft and design customized estate planning documents for clients

  • Provide legal counsel in areas such as disability planning, Medicaid planning, estate settlement, and tax-related matters

  • Assist with the probate process and trust administration

  • Collaborate with financial advisors, tax professionals, and other client representatives

  • Maintain long-term client relationships and provide exceptional service

  • Participate in community education efforts and public speaking engagements

  • Contribute to firm goals while working both independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning and/or elder law preferred (training available for the right candidate)

  • Experience in areas such as Medicaid planning, probate, special needs planning, or tax law is a plus

  • Willingness to travel to firm offices as needed

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfort with public speaking and community engagement

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Wisconsin

  • In good standing with the Wisconsin State Bar

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal drafting and estate plan design

  • Familiarity with drafting systems and estate planning software (preferred)

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
