Job Overview

Multiple law firms across the United States — including Am Law practices, mid-sized firms, and employment defense boutiques — are actively seeking Employment Law (Management-Side) Attorneys with 1–10+ years of experience.
With workplace laws evolving rapidly and employers needing proactive guidance, firms are expanding their employment counseling and compliance teams nationwide.

If you have experience advising employers on key workplace issues, including:

  • Compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

  • Employee leave, accommodation, and disability issues

  • Wage-and-hour compliance and risk assessment

  • Handbook and policy drafting

  • Workplace investigations and employee relations

  • Hiring, termination, and onboarding practices

  • DEI initiatives, training programs, and culture guidance

  • Employment aspects of corporate transactions

…we want to speak with you.

Duties

  • Advise employers on compliance with employment, labor, and workplace laws.

  • Draft and update handbooks, policies, training materials, and HR frameworks.

  • Counsel on leave laws, ADA/ADAAA accommodations, and employee-relations matters.

  • Conduct or assist with internal workplace investigations.

  • Analyze wage-and-hour risks and advise on corrective strategies.

  • Support employment aspects of mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and onboarding/offboarding processes.

  • Provide proactive risk-mitigation guidance to reduce exposure to litigation.

Requirements

  • 1–10+ years of employment law experience, preferably on the management side.

  • Background in compliance, counseling, investigations, or wage-and-hour matters.

  • Strong research, analysis, and client-communication skills.

  • Litigation exposure is a plus, but not required for all teams.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Strong advisory, risk-mitigation, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent writing and policy-drafting skills.

  • Clear and confident communication with HR teams, executives, and in-house counsel.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and responsive.

  • Ability to manage multiple employer needs simultaneously.

Submit or update your resume today, and we will match you with the firms most likely to want your background.

Your information will not be forwarded to any employers at this time. A recruiter will contact you with more information once our internal review of your resume is completed.
