Duties

• Represent clients in WCAB litigation and administrative hearings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Appear at court hearings and conferences.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and client strategy meetings.
• Participate in trial preparation and possible trial participation.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues in a high-performance environment.

Requirements

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 0-5+ years of experience in workers' compensation, civil litigation, or employment law preferred.
• Strong legal writing, advocacy, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to appear in court and engage directly with clients and witnesses.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
