Job Overview

A reputable law firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pre-Litigation Attorney to join its team in Tampa. The ideal candidate will be passionate about pursuing justice for injured clients and have significant experience in personal injury law, including auto accidents and premises liability cases. This position offers the opportunity to represent clients in trial preparation, depositions, mediations, and more. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to clients and contributing to the firm’s commitment to high-quality legal service.

Duties

  • Provide legal support and guidance to clients in personal injury cases.
  • Advise clients on the best course of action, keeping them informed of legal options and potential outcomes.
  • Meet with clients to understand their legal needs and develop strategies to resolve cases favorably.
  • Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, depositions, and contracts, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist clients with the execution of legal agreements.
  • Prepare for and represent clients in trial, depositions, and mediations.
  • Stay informed about current legislation and ensure compliance with applicable rules and procedures.
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in personal injury law, including auto accident and premises liability cases.
  • First chair trial experience required.
  • Knowledge of federal and state statutes, court rules, and legal procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Ability to strategize and represent clients effectively in court proceedings.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Florida (Barred in Florida).

Skills

  • Strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in trial preparation, depositions, and mediations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to represent clients in court and manage litigation effectively.
