Duties

• Draft and negotiate agreements related to entertainment and new media, including production, licensing, distribution, talent, and digital content deals
• Review contracts for compliance, rights issues, and risk assessment
• Provide legal guidance regarding intellectual property, media rights, and industry-specific regulations
• Support senior attorneys with complex transactions and deal structures
• Conduct legal research related to entertainment law, digital media, and emerging technologies
• Liaise with clients, talent representatives, production teams, and corporate stakeholders

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in entertainment and new media transactional law
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects in fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with industry standards and current trends in digital and traditional media

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar (or eligibility)
