Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Handle general civil litigation matters with a focus on construction litigation.

  • Assist in representing clients in construction-related disputes, including contract issues, construction defects, and other related matters.

  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

  • Conduct legal research to support litigation strategies.

  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.

  • Participate in discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members on cases.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of general civil litigation experience.

  • Strong academic credentials with exceptional research and writing skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Motivated, self-sufficient, and detail-oriented.

  • Interest in transitioning into construction litigation.

  • Admitted to practice in Florida.

Education:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice in Florida.

Skills:

  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage and organize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

  • Willingness to transition into construction litigation.
