Job Overview:

A dynamic law firm is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate to join its Las Vegas office. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney to work with a diverse group of clients from various industries, including financial services, insurance, real estate, gaming, and entertainment. The role involves working on complex commercial and business litigation matters and collaborating with a team of seasoned trial attorneys to develop creative strategies for clients.

Location:

  • Las Vegas, NV

Duties:

  • Represent clients in commercial and business litigation matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and execute litigation strategies.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in client meetings and negotiations.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare reports on findings.
  • Manage case files and deadlines, ensuring timely and efficient project management.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to handle complex litigation matters.
  • Participate in community and professional organizations as part of professional development.

Requirements:

  • Commercial and business litigation experience, preferably in a large law firm setting.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a diverse workload effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent drafting and research skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to take on significant project responsibilities.
  • Must be admitted to the Nevada Bar.
  • Willingness to participate in professional and community organizations.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active admission to the Nevada Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong experience in commercial and business litigation.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and drafting skills.
  • Negotiation and client communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in a large law firm setting (preferred).
