Duties:

• Handle a rapidly increasing docket of personal injury cases, including auto accidents, premises liability, and 18-wheeler collisions.
• Manage pre-litigation phases of personal injury cases, ensuring proper documentation, investigation, and client communication.
• Lead a team of personal injury department team members and collaborate in a team environment.
• Conduct legal research, draft correspondence, and handle case settlements.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and other law firms involved in the case.
• Provide guidance and support to junior attorneys and staff.
• Manage case files and adhere to deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
• Active member in good standing of the Texas Bar.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of pre-litigation and litigation experience in personal injury law.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Texas Bar License (Required).
• Strong experience in handling motor vehicle accidents, workers' compensation, premises liability, and other personal injury cases.
• Strong negotiation, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to lead a team and work in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas (Texas Bar License).
