Attorney

Los Angeles office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an attorney. The candidate will investigate and evaluate potential cases, interview potential clients, and participate in case selection decisions. Will manage discovery, including drafting and responding to document discovery requests, taking and defending depositions, and supervising expert witnesses. Draft motions, mediation briefs, trial briefs, and other court filings. Argue motions and examine witnesses at evidentiary hearings and trials. Work directly with clients and opposing counsel. Admission to practice in California or New York is required.

The candidate must have a J.D. degree. Working knowledge of federal and/or state civil procedures is required. Familiarity with employment law is preferred. Excellent legal research and writing skills are required. Superior attention to detail is needed. Should have the ability to work well with others, including paralegals and law firm staff.
