Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Attorney in Charlotte, NC. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of real estate closings, including title searches, closing ceremonies, funding, and disbursements. Duties

  • Draft, review, and comment on real estate closing documents.
  • Review and analyze property titles and issue commitments and policies.
  • Communicate with clients, brokers, and lenders.
  • Conduct closing ceremonies.
  • Assist in staff development and oversight.

Requirements

  • South Carolina License to Practice Law.
  • Minimum of 2 years of closing experience in South Carolina real estate law.
  • Located in Charlotte, NC.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex legal and business documents.
  • High level of reasoning ability and even temperament.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
