Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Sioux City, IA. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on litigation, family law, or business law. Duties

• Conduct complex legal research and analysis of statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Draft, review, and revise essential legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage a dynamic caseload from inception to resolution, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Assist in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear and professional communication.
• Collaborate with partners, senior associates, and paralegals on case strategy and development.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing of the Iowa, Nebraska, and/or South Dakota Bar or eligible for admission.
• Experience in litigation, family law, or business law, or relevant litigation experience.
• Superior communication, research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage a demanding caseload.
• A client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in Iowa, Nebraska, and/or South Dakota or eligibility for admission.
