Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Lateral Litigation Attorney to join its Commercial and/or Tort Litigation Practice Group in Williston, North Dakota. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in litigation, including trial work, to this dynamic role.

Duties

  • Represent clients in commercial and tort litigation cases.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
  • Prepare for and attend trials and hearings.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to develop case strategies.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of legal experience in litigation.
  • Trial experience is essential.
  • Reputation for good standing in the legal community.
  • Licenses or willingness to obtain licenses in North Dakota and Montana.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in North Dakota and Montana preferred.
