Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Patent Agent or Technical Advisor to join the Patent Prosecution & Litigation Practice Group on the Software and Electrical Engineering Team in Tysons Corner, VA. The role involves working on patent preparation and prosecution, particularly in the areas of 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards, memory devices, and semiconductor devices.

Duties

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications in relevant technical areas.
• Collaborate with team members to develop patent strategies.
• Conduct technical research and analysis to support patent filings.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Experience with 5G, 6G, 3GPP standards, memory devices, or semiconductors preferred.

Education

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
