Insurance Defense Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney for their El Paso, TX office. The successful candidate will possess extensive litigation experience in bodily injury defense, construction defect, and other insurance defense matters, and demonstrate proficiency in handling civil cases through trial.

Duties

• Draft motions, conduct depositions, oral arguments, and hearings
• Negotiate settlements and manage client reporting
• Independently handle appearances and assignments with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Texas (additional state licensure is a plus)
• 7+ years of experience in insurance defense preferred
• Experience in bodily injury defense, construction defect, and other insurance defense matters required

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree

Certifications

• Valid Bar license
