Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Commercial Leasing Associate in New Orleans, LA. This role offers an opportunity to engage with sophisticated clients in the dynamic data center and energy sectors. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 7 years of experience in commercial leasing.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate commercial leases and related agreements.
• Handle transfer consents, lender subordination agreements, work letters, and SNDAs.
• Address development issues related to power, water, and fiber-optic infrastructure.
• Collaborate on zoning, entitlements, and permit processes.

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of commercial leasing experience.
• Experience with service level agreements and data center construction preferred.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in the jurisdiction of resident office location.

Skills

• Comprehensive understanding of development issues.
• Experience in Am Law 100 firm preferred.
