Job Title: Trial Attorney

Job Overview:
A prominent Boston-based law firm is actively seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to join its civil litigation practice focused on personal injury. The firm handles a broad range of complex plaintiff-side matters, including serious injury and wrongful death cases stemming from vehicle accidents, hazardous premises, construction incidents, defective products, and similar claims. The ideal candidate will manage their docket while also collaborating within a close-knit team of legal professionals. This role offers an excellent platform for attorneys passionate about trial work and committed to advocating for individuals during challenging times.

Duties:

  • Manage a personal caseload involving serious injury and wrongful death matters

  • Represent clients in civil trials from inception through resolution

  • Engage in all stages of litigation, including investigation, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial

  • Maintain consistent client communication and provide clear case updates

  • Collaborate closely with fellow attorneys and support staff to drive case progression

  • Adhere to all procedural deadlines and court requirements

  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work culture in a small office environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of trial experience in civil litigation, preferably on the plaintiff’s side

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple active cases simultaneously

  • Strong time management and organizational habits

  • High attention to detail with a results-driven approach

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Commitment to providing top-tier service to clients during sensitive legal matters

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission in good standing to the Massachusetts Bar
