Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Case Development Intake Attorney in San Antonio, TX. The role involves managing a docket of approximately 50 cases, investigating and preserving evidence, and developing medical and triage cases. The attorney will handle property damage claims, communicate with clients and adjusters, and prepare status reports. They will also act as a liaison to settle certain cases and manage clients during the case development intake process.

Duties

  • Investigate and develop commercial cases.
  • Accept and evaluate incoming calls from potential new clients.
  • Secure authorization for case sign-ups and explain attorney-client contracts.
  • Prepare and submit monthly status reports for clients.
  • Manage client communications and ensure compliance with ethical obligations.
  • Maximize case values and attorney fees recovered.
  • Participate in additional projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing.
  • 0-3 years of personal injury experience.
  • Strong commitment to client service and excellent writing skills.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams.
  • Previous customer service or sales experience preferred.
  • Valid TX driver license and good driving record.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed attorney in Texas.

Skills

  • High energy and motivational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Bilingual (Spanish a plus).
